Valparaiso, on July 2 nd , 2003 was declared “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO; this city placed in the Pacific coast, one hour and a half from Santiago, has a special personality that can only be discovered walking through its narrow alleys in one of its numerous hills. Valparaiso is also where the parliament of Chile is located, as well as Chilean Navy headquarters. This city was for many years the strategic port of the South Pacific, being influenced by waves of immigrants from Europe which created the original substructure it possesses today, which inspired many artists. In this excursion we visit the house museum of Chilean Nobel , Pablo Neruda giving you time to experience this poet particular way of living, after that, we walk through Valparaiso ‘s Historical area riding its famous funiculars declared national monuments. We also give you some time for relaxing and enjoying the view from one its viewpoints or if you prefer, you can take a look at one of its handicraft stands there. For

lunch we have selected something very typical, a restaurant with local tradition in sea food and fish (not included). After lunch we take you to next city, Vina del Mar a resort city named as the garden city by the locals. Back to Santiago .
