Pan de Pascua
How Chilean celebrate Christmas, is about location, for example now in Santiago everything is very crazy, is a shopping fever, like anywhere else, but one of the traditions that is mostly universal in our territory is the famous “pan de Pascua” joined with an alcoholic drink named “cola de mono” which is a firewater cream very tasty!
About dinner, is basically a family event, which in my family never was a fixed menu, some times was a grill chicken, some times a barbecue, some times and fish.
But wine, was always part of that dinner, after dinner we usually open the
Cola de Mono
presents!
