Casablanca is recognized in the country for the production of white wines, especially Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewurztraminer. Its soil , and sea-side climate conditions, similar to Napa and Carneros Valleys in California , made this valley special for white wines; in spite of this growers permanently want to try other vines, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if this valley in the future is known as Pinot Noir valley, for example. Our excursion includes the visit to two vineyards, Veramonte , with around 840 acres, with one of the most advanced technologies in the valley and an impressive 26.000 sq.ft.
